Ride Description:
This is the Senior Men's Pro,1,2 and 3 road race stage of the Dead Dog Classic Memorial Stage Race. Start at Albany, Wyoming (8349 ft), descend to 7600 feet on State Highway 11. Turn west on State Highway 130 and climb through the town of Centennial, Wyoming and up to the 10,800 ft Snowy Range Pass. Descend down the western slope of the Medicine Bow Mountain range to Ryan Park, Wyoming at 8400 ft. Turnaround and reverse course. 84 miles roundtrip and 6700 feet of climbing. Spectacular alpine scenery, great road surface and little traffic (on summer weekends slightly heavier). Road normally open end of May through October.
