Ride Description: It is said to be comparable to Alp d'Huez. One of the most difficult in the Los Angeles area. 4,600 feet of climbing in 14 miles and a screaming 40-45 mph descent. Once past Mt. Baldy village you will take a left towards the ski lifts. You will then encounter the switch backs that will take you to the top. The last 5 miles are steep with an average grade of 8%. The last 1/3 mile is approx. 15%.
