Luciano Maggini was born on May 15, 1925. He died on January 24, 2012 The Italian rider placed in the World Championship Road Race. Maggini was 4th in the 1948 World Championship Road Race behind Alberic Schotte of Belgium, Apo Lazarides of France, and Lucien Teisseire of France.
