Francis Pelissier was born on June 13, 1894. He died on February 22, 1959. The French rider stood on the podium of one of the five monuments in cycling.
He also won one of the one-day classics.
Pelissier was 2nd in the 1921 Paris-Roubaix Classic behind Henri Pelissier of France.
