Enrico Mollo was born on July 24, 1913. He died on March 10, 1992. The Italian rider twice stood on the podium of a Grand Tour event.
He also won one of the five monuments in cycling.
Mollo was 2nd in the 1940 Giro d’Italia behind Fausto Coppi of Italy.
Mollo was also 3rd in the 1937 Giro d'Italia behind Gino Bartali of Italy and Giovanni Valetti of Italy.
In addition, Mollo won the Tour of Lombardy Classic in 1935.
