Rik Van Linden was born on July 28, 1949.The Belgian rider won
the Points Jersey in a Grand Tour event.
He was also a two-time winner of one of the one-day classics.
Van Linden won the Points Jersey in the 1975 Tour de France.
He also won the Paris-Tours Classic in 1971 and 1973.
