Fermin Trueba was born on August 26, 1915. He died on May 1, 2007. The Spanish rider twice stood on the podium of the same Grand Tour event, in the same year. Trueba was 2nd in the 1941 Vuelta a Espana behind Julian Berrendero of Spain. Trueba also won the Mountains Jersey in the 1941 Vuelta as well.
