Georges Passerieu was born on October 11, 1885. He died on May 5, 1928.

He also won one of the five monuments in cycling.
Passerieu was 2nd in the 1906 Tour de France behind Rene Pottier of France.
Passerieu was also 3rd in the 1908 Tour de France behind Lucien Petit-Breton of France and Francois Faber of Luxembourg.
In the one-day events, Passerieu won the 1907 Paris-Roubaix Classic in front of Cyrille Van Hauwaert of Belgium and Louis Trousselier of France.
