Outgoing Route:
Rollong hills for 20 miles; climbing starts and is consistant for the next 20 miles; Note we do this ride once a year as a wind down to the race season; any experienced racer will appreciate the challange and the scenery. The climb is up to the 3,600ft. elevation. It then goes down hill into the upper visitor center of Mt.St. Helens.(great view of the volcano. Turnaround point/Midpoint: 40 miles at the top.
Returning Route:
same;nice long downhill with large shoulder, good pavement; there are a few stores and places to fill up water bottles on the route. No sag. I have been doing the ride since 1994, love it every time
