Julian Berrendero was born on April 8, 1912. He died on August 1, 1995.

In the Grand Tour events, the Spanish rider won twice, was second twice, and won three Mountain Jerseys.

Berrendero won the 1941 Vuelta a Espana in front of Fermin Trueba of Spain and Jose Jabardo of Spain.

Berrendero also won the 1942 Vuelta a Espana in front of Diego Chafer of Spain and Antonio A. Sancho of Spain.

Berrendero was 2nd in the 1945 Vuelta a Espana behind Delio Rodriguez of Spain.

Berrendero was also 2nd in the 1946 Vuelta a Espana behind Dalmacio Langarica of Spain.

Berrendero won the Mountains Jersey in the 1936 Tour de France.

He also won the Mountains Jersey in the Vuelta a Espana in 1942 and 1945.
