Firmin Lambot was born on March 14, 1886. He died on January 19,1964.

The Belgian rider was a two-time winner of the Tour de France.

Lambot won the 1919 Tour de France in front of Jean Alavoine and Eugene Christophe of France.

Lambot also won the 1922 Tour de France in front of Jean Alavoine of France and Felix Sellier of Belgium.

In addition, Lambot was 3rd in the 1920 Tour de France behind fellow Belgians Philippe Thys and Hector Heusghem.

Lambot's victory in 1919 saw him be the first rider to wear the yellow jersey in Paris, since this was the year the yellow jersey was created.

Lambot's victory in 1922 at age 36 makes him the oldest Tour de France winner on record.
